Therapy should be a collaborative process, where you feel comfortable asking questions, can build clarity, and gain momentum toward your goals. I see the ways that mindfulness, creative expression, and movement can be tools for healing and aim to integrate them into my practice. Above all, I strive to provide a space where you feel truly seen and can share openly.
I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient clinics, school-based, and private practice settings since 2013. I have training and experience supporting those managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, depression and anxiety during the perinatal period, life transitions and stressors, and more. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) and enjoy working with those who have the shared experience of transitioning to/from work abroad.
I am available for a free 15 min phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit, and if we are not I can provide you with a list of recommended therapists so you can find someone who is!

I am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with the Association of Play Therapy. You can find out more about the play therapy modality here.
I am a certified Foundational Level Theraplay practitioner.
Theraplay is an evidence-based child and family therapy for building and enhancing attachment, self-esteem, trust in others, and joyful engagement.
It is based on the natural patterns of playful, healthy interaction between parent and child, and itβs personal, physical, and fun. Theraplay interactions focus on four essential qualities found in parent-child relationships: structure, engagement, nurture, and challenge. Theraplay sessions create an emotional connection between the child and caregiver, resulting in a changed view of the self as worthy and lovable, and of relationships as positive and rewarding.
